Designed for five children of varying ages, this custom playset was thoughtfully created to provide engaging play opportunities while reflecting the architectural character of their custom home, the Bridge House.

Inspired by the home's defining design themes, the play area incorporates matching materials, including prefinished cedar siding, painted steel posts and beams, Garapa wood decking, and clear cedar soffits, to create a seamless connection between the structures. A central bridge serves as the primary connector between the different wings, echoing the home's own emphasis on connection and movement.

The layout features distinct play zones that encourage independent exploration while remaining connected to support imaginative group play. The playset was positioned to engage with the surrounding landscape, with strategically placed openings that frame curated views of both the house and the yard.

Functionality was just as important as aesthetics. A swing for each child was a key priority, while a double swing provides a place for mom and dad to relax, supervise, and enjoy the outdoor space alongside their children.

"Nature is the great teacher—man can only receive and respond to her teaching."
