Nestled in the Saline countryside, Giraffe transformed a dated footprint into a highly functional and visually refined series of interconnected spaces, including a full kitchen overhaul, redesigned butler’s pantry, and a family-friend laundry/mudroom. The revised floorplan enhances circulation and connectivity between the main kitchen, adjacent prep areas, and transitional entry points.

Fundamental in transitional design principles, the kitchen features clean white cabinetry offset by a soft gray island and warm walnut-toned floors. A spacious custom banquette and tall windows define the integrated yet private eat-in dining niche. The butler’s pantry shifts the material palette with antiqued mirrored subway tile and floating shelves, while off the main hall, the combined laundry-mudroom area introduces smoky blue cabinetry and integrated storage.
