This first-level remodel focused on improving functionality while creating a warmer, more cohesive design throughout the home. New hardwood flooring, updated trim, and refreshed doors help tie the entire first level together.

In the kitchen, a mix of painted and walnut cabinetry, quartz countertops, and deep emerald backsplash add warmth and texture while maintaining a clean, timeless look. Curved details - including the island, counter edges, and new arched doorways - soften the overall architecture and create a more inviting feel.

Relocating the laundry room to the second floor allowed space for a larger mudroom and a new full bathroom in place of the previous powder room. The mudroom was reconfigured to include custom floor-to-ceiling lockers, built-in storage, a farmhouse wash basin, and a custom walnut pocket door.

The newly enlarged bath was outfitted with marble floors, a tile shower, walnut cabinetry, and brass finishes to maintain cohesion off of the kitchen.
